| Description |
Deutsch: Südsüdostansicht des Stausees Margaritze am Fuß der Pasterze bzw. des Gloßglockners in der österreichischen Gemeinde Heiligenblut am Großglockner in Kärnten und im Hintergrund die Stichstraße der Großglockner-Hochalpenstraße zur Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe. Der Stausee auf 2000 m Höhe und mit einem Volumen von bis zu 3,2 Mio. m³ Wasser gehört zur Oberstufe des Kraftwerks Kaprun und wurde 1953 fertiggestellt. Er wird durch die 56 m (statisch wirksame) hohe Möllsperre und der 39 m (statisch wirksamen) hohen schwach gekrümmten Margaritzensperre gebildet und speichert die Abflüsse des Pasterzengletschers und des Leiterbaches (verbunden mit einem Stollen). Das Wasser wird mittels dem 11,6 km langen Möllüberleitungsstollen durch den Tauernhauptkamm zum Möllpumpwerk geleitet. |
