Description
English: Heaton Park Tramway, Lakeside Tram Depot. Manchester City Transport 3245 (JND646), a 1951 Metro Cammell bodied Leyland Titan visiting from the Museum of Transport joins two historic trams from the Heaton Park Tramway fleet to pose for photos outside the tram shed at the Lakeside terminus. Manchester Corporation Tramways 173 is a 4-wheel double deck tram built by Brush in 1901. Originally open top, it was later rebuilt with a top cover. 173 remained in service until 1931. Manchester Corporation 765 is a single deck California car built in 1914 for routes with low bridges.
