Original Message ----- From : Alan Stanton, Tottenham Hale ward councillor To : Haringey Environment Department Cc : Noel Park ward councillors Sent : Tuesday, August 14, 2012 1:39 PM Subject : Hazel Mews N22 Shopping in Wood Green I walked past Hazel Mews N22. Can I please draw attention to my photos taken on 3 August and posted on Flickr. I'm sure that dumping in this alleyway is regularly reported and cleared. And that other possible issues are noted. However, just in case, the staff involved may find it useful to have my set of photos from a single day showing the alley from both directions. Please note in particular that waste bins are left at the end of the alley near Alexandra Road and possibly not at the rear of the particular businesses they belong to. Traders in Joann's Fish and Reptiles store suggested this may encourage dumping by people unconnected with Hazel mews. There was rubble dumped next to the large waste bins. Also, rubbish dumped at the southern end of the alley may have been there a while. A handmade sign advertising land for sale may suggest conversion of property. It seemed from the rear doors that there may be residential properties which access the alleyway. If this hasn't already been done, can I please suggest these are checked for the Electoral Register and for Council Tax. Thanks. |
