Harry Usher, Noted In Vaudeville, Dies. Los Angeles, California; October 29, 1950 (Associated Press) Harry Usher, 39, a vaudeville headliner for more than 30 years, died here last night following a heart attack. Usher collapsed shortly after he and his wife, Frances, appeared in their mind reading act. Usher, president of the Hollywood Comedy Club, an organization of old time vaudeville stars, had lived here for 25 years. He and his wife formerly traveled the B. F. Keith-Orpheum circuit. Usher Also is survived by two daughters, Carolyn and Frances; a son,. Harry, Jr., of New York; a brother, Fred Usher, also of New York, and his mother, Mrs. Ruth Usher, of Brooklyn.
