| Description |
English: Harrow & Wealdstone station: view to the northwest Most of the tracks are electrified on the overhead system at 25 kV, AC 50 cycles, but there are two tracks (and a reversing road) at the extreme left which are electrified at 750V DC. These are used by London Overground trains going through to Watford Junction, and the reversing road by Bakerloo line Underground trains. The eventual plan is for the Bakerloo trains to be re-extended to Watford Junction; however, the future of the Watford - Euston Overground service is less certain, as more space at Euston is required for long distance services; the Watford trains may cease to use Euston and be diverted to Stratford via Primrose Hill. |
