Description A Marine Corps AV-8B Harrier aircraft takes off from the flight deck of the amphibious assault ship USS NASSAU (LHA-4) during Operation Desert Shield. Lined up along the edge of the flight deck are two Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 365 (HMM-365) CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters and several AH-1T Sea Cobra helicopters and UH-1N Iroquois helicopters from Marine Utility/Attack Squadron 269 (HML/A-269).
