Title |
Harness pendant |
||
Description |
English: A cast copper alloy shield-shaped harness pendant. The suspension loop is intact, but the artefact is severely corroded and appears to be poorly-made. The edges are very rough. The face has a cast design in the form of a ‘cross patonce’, formed by an outline. Within part of the outline is a small amount of surviving red enamel. This artefact dates to the 13th or 14th century. |
