Title
Harness pendant
Description
English: A complete copper alloy shield shaped horse harness pendant. The suspension loop is set at 90 degrees to the plane of the shaft, which dates this pendant to the medieval period. The front face of this pendant is very worn but is probably decorated with a heraldic design of a lion rampant. There are three patches of possible silvering or tinning around the lion. The back face is undecorated.
