Title
Harness pendant
Description
English: An incomplete copper-alloy probable harness pendant, most likely to be medieval and circa 14th century in date. It is small and shield shaped and all that remains of the integral suspension loop is a fragmentary stub. This pendant measures 17.1mm in length and 11.2mm in width. The front face retains traces of a decorative design, what was depicted is now unclear but fragments of a now blue enamel can be seen. This pendant may therefore, have been heraldic originally.
