Title |
Harness Pendant |
||
Description |
English: A cast copper-alloy shield-shaped harness pendant of Medieval date.
The pendant is incomplete, with only the base of an attachment loop remaining at the top of the shield, though the body of the pendant itself is complete. The face has three rows of recessed crenallation, which probably originally contained enamel. There are faint traces of gilding. The reverse is undecorated. |
