Português: O Parque Nacional da Serra dos Órgãos é uma Unidade de Conservação Federal de Proteção Integral, subordinada ao Instituto Chico Mendes de Conservação da Biodiversidade (ICMBio), cujo objetivo maior é o de preservar amostras representativas dos ecossistemas nacionais.

Criado em 30 de novembro de 1939, o PARNASO é o terceiro parque mais antigo do país, representando um importante marco na história das Unidades de Conservação Brasileira. (Conheça um pouco mais da história do parque)

É um dos melhores locais do país para a prática de esportes de montanha, como escalada, caminhada, rapel e outros; além de ter fantásticas cachoeiras. O Parque tem a maior rede de trilhas do Brasil. São mais de 200 quilômetros de trilhas em todos os níveis de dificuldade: desde a trilha suspensa, acessível até a cadeirantes, até a pesada Travessia Petrópolis-Teresópolis, com 30 Km de subidas e descidas pela parte alta das montanhas e lindas cachoeiras como esta.
English: The Serra dos Órgãos is an Integral Protection Federal Conservation Unit , under the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation ( ICMBio ) , whose main objective is to preserve representative samples of national ecosystems.

Created on November 30, 1939 , the PARNASO is the third oldest park in the country , representing an important milestone in the history of Brazilian Protected Areas. ( Learn a little more about the history of the park)

One of the best places in the country to practice mountain sports such as climbing , hiking , rappelling and others; besides having fantastic waterfalls. The park has the largest network of trails in Brazil. More than 200 kilometers of trails in all difficulty levels : from the ground trail , accessible to wheelchair users, to heavy Crossing Petropolis - Teresopolis, with 30 km of ups and downs for the upper reaches of the mountains and beautiful waterfalls like this.
