The market in the South,which is usually easy at this time of theyear, is proving a surprise in its con-tinued strength and indications seem topoint to a scarcity. This is due to amarked reduction in tankage, it is in-timated, and the fact that new supplesare slow in showing volume. There issome turpentine being unloaded thisweek, which will relieve temporaryshortage here.
