Description
English: Harbour at Port of Ness, Lewis The men of Ness traditionally travel to the island of Suilisgeir where they harvest the young of Solan Goose. The "Guga" were salted in barrels for winter use.Restrictions have been placed on this practice but it is still considered to be a delicacy.
