Description

Sham El-Nesim or Smelling of the breeze or Easter Monday in Egypt is a festival dates back to Pharonic times. Traditional activities include painting eggs and eating fish that has been buried underground.

Note: It's always comes after the Easter, because when Christianity reached Egypt, it was celebrated by the people of other religions during a certain day ( I don't when but maybe the 1st day of the spring ). But, the Christians didn't use to celebrate this feast as there was fasting during that time every year. So, the feast was changed in the 2nd day of the easter as a respect for the Christians
