A Hà-Nôi, une griffe de port payé 33 mm «B.P.M. 411 P.P. 3 Frs» sera utilisée, apposée à coté du cachet muet « POSTE AUX ARMEES ★», le tout à l'encre bleue (assez rare) ou noire (très rare).

Bien que certaines lettres pour la France portent la mention ou une étiquette "par avion", il n'est pas clair si la griffe ne concernait que le trajet Hanoi-Saigon par avion militaire ou la totalité du voyage.

Lettres avec preuve d'acheminement : lettre avec griffe P.P. bleue ...........75 €.

lettre avec griffe P.P. noire ...........150 € .

Note : A Hà Nôi, il a été confectionné à l'époque pour les collectionneurs de nombreuses enveloppes vierges avec la griffe de port payé et le cachet postal (du 18 mars) déjà apposé. Il est donc facile aujourd'hui de rajouter une adresse. On privilégiera donc les enveloppes avec preuve d'acheminement (cachets d'arrivée, de transit, censures..) et les enveloppes commerciales préimprimées.
