Ruppel, nutzt werden, wie der Operationssaal mit seinen Nebenräumen, diegemeinschaftlichen Bäder, der Betsaal, die Apotheke u. s. w. sind ebensowie das gemeinschaftliche Treppenhaus, in der Mitte des Gebäudes anzu-ordnen. Ist auch die Verwaltung mit den Krankenräumen in einem Ge-bäude vereinigt, so wird dieselbe ebenfalls im mittleren Theil des Ge-bäudes, im Erdgeschoss, und zwar nahe am Eingang eine zweckmässigeLage haben, wie dies z. B. in dem städtischen Krankenhaus zu Offen-bach a. M. der Fall ist. Wirthschaftsräume, d. h. die Kochküche mit Vorraths- und Magazin-räumen sind möglichst nach dem Unter- oder Kellergeschoss zu verlegenund derart von dem übrigen Gebäude abzuschliessen, dass Dünste ausder Küche nicht in die oberen Geschosse dringen können. Empfehienswerther ist es allerdings, die Küche in einem besonderenGebäude, wie z. B. in dem Krankenhaus zu Schmiedeberg i. R. (Fig. 4),unterzubringen, das entweder durch einen bedeckten Gang mit demHauptgebäu
