Delirantenhaus der Herzoglichen Krankenanstalt zu Braunschweig. In dem neuen städtischen Krankenhaus zu Bielefeld sind die Irren-zellen nach Fig. 28 in dem Pavillon für Krätze- und Syphiliskrankeuntergebracht und zwar in kleinen Flügelbauten, wo die Zellen gut ab-gesondert, und im Uebrigen nicht solche Kranke in der Nähe sind, denenein etwaiger, vernehmbarer Lärm unangenehm oder gar gefährlich wer-den könnte. Für die bauliche Einrichtung der Zellen selbst sind neben den be- 818 F. Iiuppel, Fi«. 28.

Pavillon für Kranke mit Krätze und Syphilis im neuen städtischen Krankenhaus zu Bielefeld. reits erörterten Grundsätzen für die Ausgestaltung der Krankenzimmerdie besonderen Forderungen der Irrenanstalts-Hygiene zu befolgen; dochist im Auge zu behalten, class es sich immer nur um eine vorüber-gehende Unterkunft von Irrsinnigen, Deliranten u. s. w. handelt. Alswesentliche Gesichtspunkte sind zu beachten, dass den Irren nirgendsein Angriffspunkt oder eine Gelegenheit für eine Demolirung geboten,auch eine Selbstbeschädigung möglichst verhütet werde. Wände undFussboden sind daher fest und glatt herzustellen, Kanten möglichst zuvermeiden, die Fenster hoch und ebenso wie die glatten, gut (event. mitEisenblech) zu sichernden Thüren bündig mit der inneren Wandfläche zulegen.
