Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Field Marshal (Earl) Haig (1861-1928), in army uniform, reviewing Wolf Cubs, apparently in Glasgow. Another army officer, also in uniform, is standing behind him, so it is possible that this photograph was taken just after the end of the war.

The stamp on the photograph reads 'Copyright The Bulletin'. The banner held by some of the Wolf Cubs reads 'Glasgow Wolf Cub Competition'. The Scout Movement had been started in 1908 and Haig appears to have considered it promoted a good attitude to life.
