Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschütztes ehemaliges Umspannwerk der Hagener Straßenbahn in Hagen-Haspe, Voerder Straße 131 a (am Schützenhof); erbaut 1927/28. Architekt: Emil Günther aus Hagen. Dreistufiger Klinkerbau mit Flachdächern und (Uhr-)Turm im Bauhaus-Stil. Es gilt als eines der wichtigsten erhaltenen technischen Gebäude aus der Zeit der Bauhaus-Architektur im Raum Hagen. Das Umspannwerk diente der Umstellung der Hochspannungsleitungen der Straßenbahn an der Strecke Hagen-Haspe-Voerde-Breckerfeld. Heute wird das Gebäude teilweise als Versammlungsraum der evangelischen Missionsgemeinde Hagen genutzt.
