Description
Deutsch: Denkmalgeschütztes ehemaliges Ökonomiegebäude Haus Harkorten in Hagen-Westerbauer. Harkorten wird schon 1486 im Schatzbuch der Grafschaft Mark erwähnt (Harkottessche wedewe mit einer Abgabe von vier Goldgulden). Haus Harkorten besteht aus einem Ensemble von drei Gebäuden, dem Herrenhaus von 1756, dem Speicher oder sogenanntem Jungfernhaus von 1705, und dem Ökonomiehaus von 1687. Es war das Geburtshaus Friedrich Harkorts (1793–1880), der als Vater des Ruhrgebiets bezeichnet wird. Nach jahrelangem Verfall und Leerstand wurde das Ökonomiegebäude 2015 umfassend restauriert und zum Wohnhaus mit Gewerbe umgebaut. Fassade in Fachwerk und Holzschindelung auf Bruchsteinsockel.
