Fur carpet / Pelz-Wandteppich Habsburg im Argau

Wandteppich. Photogr. Repr. Ausgeführt von Bruna, Wien.

Das Mittelfeld stellt die Habsburg im Arsau (richtig: Habsburg im Argau!) dar. Die Umrahmung ist aus Murmel. In den Ecken 4 Wappen: Kärnten, Niederösterreich, Böhmen und Ungarn. Dazwischen Eichenlaub. Ueber dem Mittelgebilde die kaiserliche Krone, unter derselben der kais. Adler. Die äussere Umrahmung ist aus Sealkanin mit Biber getupft. Verwendet wurde Fischotter, Maulwurf, Murmel, Sealbisam und nat. Bisam. Alle Teile dieser hervorragenden Arbeit, sind in den Grund eingenäht.

Tapis décoratif, fait par Bruna, Vienne (Austriche). Le champ du milieu représente la << Habsburg >>; au-dessus. la << couronne >>; en dessous, << l'aigle impérial >>. Dans Hongri. Le cadre extérieur est fait en lapin rasé avec mouches en castor. Les fourrures employées également pour ce remaquable travail consistent en Murmel Nutrias, loutre de rivière, rat loutre, rat naturel, sealskin et taupe.

Wall-Carpet, made by M. Bruna, of Vienna (Austria). The centre of field represents the << Habsburg >>, an old and ancient Austria stronghold. Above we find the << crown >> and underneath the << Imperial Eagle >> in the corners are represented the blazons of all the principal provinces appartaining in the Austrian Empire. The frame-work is made from Electric Seal and the flies from Beaver. The furs employed for this remarkable masterpiece are, namely: Marmot, Nutria, natural Otter, dyed and natural Musquash, Seal-Skin and Moleskins.
