Summary[edit]
DescriptionHaarlem-Leidsevaart-Van Tubergen huis.jpg | 18th century house on the Leidsevaart, Van Tubergenpad, Haarlem. Seen from the Leidsevaart. Building was part of the old Haarlem bulb company "Van Tubergen", and is now located in the middle of a housing development by the same name. It is said that Nicolas Beets, a.k.a. Hildebrand wrote about this house in his short stories known as Camera Obscura. In the distance, on the same side of the Leidevaart, the top of the pendant building Zwanenburg can be seen behind the trees. On the left, on the western side of the Leidsevaart, the green dome of the R.K. St. Bavo Cathedral can be seen. |
