Description
English: Pictured: A Gunner launches a flare as HMS Tamar prepares to qualify two new gunners by conducting a day into night shoot. HMS Tamar today 27th July 2022 sailed from the Pacific Islands of Palau to continue with her mission in the Pacific Region. The ship conducted exercises including a Man Overboard Exercise (MOBEX), a Fire Exercise, and a Heavy Machine Gun shoot to provide continuation training and to sharpen the ships company’s reactions to any incidents that could occur on-board. Tamar is on mission to spread goodwill to the island nation, as part of a US-led Pacific peace and goodwill mission called Pacific Partnership 22 along with ships from the US and Japanese Navy's.
