English: A contemporary artist's impression of a collision that occurred near Yarmouth, on the Isle of Wight, between the torpedo boat destroyer HMS Spiteful and a barge named Preciosa on 4 April 1905. Two crew members on the barge died, and, after a court martial, the officer in charge of Spiteful at the time lost six months' seniority and was dismissed from the ship. |
