"Cambridge," in Hamoaze, Great-Gun Practice Wilson visited Plymouth during the summer of 1861 where he photographed naval ships. This is also around the time that Wilson was experimenting with ‘instantaneous’ photographs that captured fleeting details like the smoke from naval cannon. |
