DescriptionH.M. Peterson Speculative House 3 (1928).jpg |
English: Original Flickr description:
5319 South Upton Avenue Minneapolis, Minnesota Architects: William Purcell with Frederick Strauel After architect William Purcell had already left the Twin Cities for Portland, Oregon as well as abandoned the Prairie School Style, but he partnered with his draftsman to design nine speculative houses (meaning they were planned with no client in mind) for Minneapolis developer H.M. Peterson. They are Purcell's interpretation of the English Tudor revival design that was popular at the time. |
