Description
Français : Bas relief en marbre blanc.
Vierge assise, vue à mi-corps, tenant l’Enfant Jésus sur ses genoux. Deux anges soutiennent une couronne, et de l’autre main portent une branche de lys. De chaque côté un candélabre est réuni à son homologue par des lauriers. Le cadre de style italien et de forme monumentale est sculpté.

Object history
Français : Collection de William Williams Hope. Puis acquis par le baron Seillière qui le place dans l'antichambre qui précède la salle à manger de l’hôtel où il se trouve lors de la mort de son épouse en 1886. Puis placé au château de Mello où il est vendu après son décès en 1890.
