Nederlands: Portret van een groep Papua mannen. De man in het midden en de man rechts zijn afkomstig van het gebied rond de Mandobo-rivier. Het is niet zichtbaar, maar die in het midden draagt een 'kamil', een hoofdtooi voor mannen die op het punt staan te trouwen. De drie die een broek dragen, mogelijk Muyu of Auyu Papua's, zijn door de missie bekeerd (het originele bijschrift luidt: "de bebroekten zijn door de Missie gekerstenden"). Op de achttergrond zijn de militaire kazernes in Tanahmerah te zien.
