Summary[edit]

Description
English: Practitioners celebrate the new day at sunrise before going to work at the embankments of the River Ganges in Varanasi in the state Uttar Pradesh, in India. In September 2022 the River Ganges flooded the streets of the surrounding neighborhoods in the old town. Thus, the ceremony with incense and oil lamps was held in this area, which created this moment of dusk, neon-light and reflections on the water surface.
