Summary[edit]

Description

I just love all the greens in this border at this time of year.

Note the big leaves of Silphium terebinthinaceum in the middle there. I have S.laciniatum elsewhere in this bed. I expect they're seen as rank weeds in their homeland (USA) but I really like them. This one might even flower this year. The Helianthus salicifolius that was near this spot last year has completely gone though, which is interesting. It's usually very tough.
