| Description |
English: Greenock Water valley The farm of Greenock Mains lies just above the present floodplain of the Greenock Water. The land here is mainly used for grazing and Greenock Mains rears beef cattle. The valley of the Greenock Water benefits from the local geology. There are outcrops of limestone along it which have been quarried in the past to provide lime for the local farms. This has improved the quality of the grassland. |
