Bilden är figur 49 på sidan 49 i första upplagan av Om lifvet i Sverige under hednatiden (1873) av Oscar Montelius. Bildtexten lyder: "49. Genomskärning af en grafhög vid Dömmestorp i södra Halland." En not till bilden lyder: "Midt på högens botten fanns en 7 fot lång stenkista (a), innehållande ett obrändt lik och en bronsnål; högre upp funnos 3 små stenkistor, innehållande brända ben och bronssaker. Bredvid den lilla kistan i högens topp ett lerkärl fyldt med brända ben, och bredvid kistan b lågo brända ben i en grop, endast täckta af en flat sten." |
