Description |
English: Vegetation has been cleared from within the cemetery, creating more open space around the rows of grave markers. Kennecott Cemetery - Kennecott Mines National Historic Landmark. Historical descriptions of the cemetery record the site as being "weedy" and possessing a beautiful view over Kennicott Glacier. Trees and shrubs have matured, and vegetation in the cemetery has become overgrown at times. A vegetation management plan was advised to restore the historic views and maintain the integrity of the landscape.
