Summary[edit]

  • Sv: Granhögen (i folkmun byggd åt kung Grane) i Högås i Skredsviks socken i Uddevalla kommun. Den är en av Bohusläns största gravhögar, med diametern 30,2 m x 28 m, men en gravhöjd (byggd på en kulle i landskapet) á 3,3 m. Möjligtvis uppbyggd av torv eller liknande. Den är ej undersökt men är troligtvis från tiden yngre bronsålder till äldre järnålder, dvs ca 500 f Kr. Idag har har högen en kraftig hål i mitten, som sägs vara orsakad av en sättning i högen, dvs gravkonstruktion vars inre delar har varit av trä har sjunkit ihop.
