Deutsch: Die Soleleitung Hallstatt – Bad Ischl – Ebensee im Bereich nördlich der Gosauzwangbrücke mit dem Wegmacherhaus in der oberösterreichischen Gemeinde Gosau.
Die erste Soleleitung wurde im Auftrag Kaiser Rudolfs II. Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts mittels ineinandergesteckten ausgehöhlten Baumstämmen realisiert. Die heute noch in vollem Umfang funktionierende und genutzte Soleleitung besteht inzwischen aus Kunststoffrohren. Sie gilt als „älteste aktive Industrie-Pipeline der Welt“ und die gesamte Soleleitung als „erste ortsübergreifende Rohstoff-Pipeline der modernen Industriegeschichte“. |
