| Description |
English: Golden Square. Above is the east side of the square. The fine ashlar granite houses are now mainly occupied by offices and the centre of the square has become an ever busy car park. Railings fence off the "sunks", the basements which are below street level. The coat-of-arms is ornate, with heraldic leopards holding the red shield with three silver towers. The civic motto, "Bon Accord" is above the shield. |
