English: The former RUC station and EIIR postbox No. BT30 53 in Seaforde, County Down. The box is on the west side of Newcastle Road (the A24), a few yards north of its junction with Seaforde Road. It's been painted gold to honour Bethany Firth's gold medal for Paralympics Ireland in the 2012 Summer Paralympics, after the Royal Mail reversed their original decision to only paint boxes for ParalympicsGB medallists. |
