years. American born, father American, mother Irish. Had convulsions when born; has spastic paralysis, has had measles and hemorrhage of the brain. Supposed cause, “cerebral apoplexy caused by infantile paralysis.” CASE 274. HARVEY D. 16 years old. Mentality 1. Has been here 9 years. American born, of American parents. Had convulsions between the ages of one and four years. CASE 278. Don D. 24 years old. Mentality Io. Has been here 11 years. American born, of Italian parents. Had brain fever at the age of

four months which is supposed to be the cause of his condition.
