Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Glovers Needle The 18th century spire on the 15th century tower is all that remains of St Andrews church. The rest was demolished in the late 1940s after years of neglect. The name “Glovers Needle “is the local name used for the spire and recalls the years when Worcester was a major glove making centre. Taken from the modern brick paved waterfront next to the River Severn.
