English: Globe Bridge and Mile End lock Looking north from beneath the bridge towards the lock. Unusually, there are railings here: the narrowed towpath can be a hazardous place for cyclists and pedestrians to meet. The latter have precedence while the former are advised to use a 'ting ting' to signal their approach. |
