Deutsch: Die Dauer der Signalübertragung spielt beim Design von Computerprozessoren eine Rolle. Man kann auch vermuten, dass biologische neuronale Netze so evoluiert sind, dass Signalübertragungswege optimal genutzt werden. Mit der zunehmenden Bedeutung von internen Datenprozessen könnte dieser Aspekt zunehmend auch die Architektur von Gebäuden beeinflussen.
