Description
English: A passenger car with 13 windows each side, a clerestory roof and bogies ca 1890. Originally ordered by the Holdfast Bay Railway Company in 1880, the vehicle passed to the Glenelg Railway Company, a new company incorporated 1882 by merging the Holdfast Bay Railway Company and the Adelaide, Glenelg & Suburban Railway Company. In 1899, the merged company was acquired by the South Australian Railways; these cars and others were included in the assets.
