English: K.P.C. de Bazel. Glasmozaiek kantoorgebouw voor de Nederlandse Handelmaatschappij, Vijzelstraat Amsterdam, 1920-1926. Collectie NAi, BAZE 952

Zoals bij alle opdrachten besteedde De Bazel veel aandacht aan de detaillering en verfijning van zowel het exterieur als het interieur. Voor het gebouw aan de Vijzelstraat ontwierp hij talloze interieuronderdelen, zoals de veelkleurige vloermozaïken, luchtroosteromlijstingen, keramische wijzerplaten, telefooncellen, de inrichting van de werkkamers en zelfs het bestek en servies van de Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij.

Like he did with all his assignments, De Bazel paid a great deal of attention to the detailing and refinement of both the exterior and the interior. For the building on the Vijzelstraat, he designed countless interior elements, such as the multicoloured floor mosaics, ventilator frames, ceramic dials, telephone booths, the layout of the work rooms and even the cutlery and crockery for the Nederlandsche Handel-Maatschappij.
