Summary[edit]
DescriptionGirls' discussion forum in Zanzibar (8076353235).jpg |
In each location that the Female Food Hero competition visits, discussion forums are held with the local community - both men and women. This is a chance for people to discuss the future of farming, food security, and the challenges their communities face. On the island of Zanzibar, many people raised the threat of climate change and unpredictable weather affecting water supplies. People called for better investment in irrigation.
