Presado Amigo

Espero que a minha carta postal tenha alcançado você em Lisboa e que tenham feito bôa viagem.

Venho te pedir um grande favor: como já deves saber um senhor senador propoz sem me consultar, a minha nomeação de General! Não só isto é uma coisa ridícula, mas também parece até sarcástica pois eu em Fevereiro propuz a abolição da aviação como arma de guerra.

Venho pois te pedir como sei que és muito amigo do nosso futuro Presidente, para pedir a elle que mande parar tudo isto e mais homenagens, pois eu como você sabe ando já ha 2 annos doente dos nervos e só peço a Deus uma coisa é que me deixem em paz. Já aqui estou há __ mezes e não tenho coragem de sahir (Berne, Divonne e Val-Mont). Desde já te agradeço e também ao Dr. Washington Luis. Eu não sei quando irei até ahi.
