Summary[edit]

Description
English: U.S. Army Sgt. Barry Greg, and Pfc. Jovanny Colon, both M1 Armor Crewman in the 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, scrapes the embedded mud off roll wheels on a M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tank they personally named Deimos after the Greek God of War, May 12, 2015 at the Army’s Hohenfels Training Area, Germany. Greg explained that if they were to be effective in the fight, then they would have to win during routine preventative maintenance checks and services, or PMCS, prior to heading into the Hohenfels Training Area for maneuver exercises as part of Combined Resolve IV. Combined Resolve is a series of bi-annual U.S. Army Europe exercises designed to train participants to function together in a multinational and integrated environment and to train U.S. Army rotational forces in Europe to be more flexible, agile and better able to operate alongside allies and partners in the region.
