English: Instrument of civil law notary Gherwinus de Hameln from Braunschweig, Germany. Dating 5 March 1445.
Deutsch: Notariatsinstrument des Notars Gherwinus de Hameln, Kleriker der Hildesheimer Diözese. Vor dem Notar bekennt Ludolphus Sachtelevent, Bürger zu Braunschweig, dass er dem Johann Sachtelevent, Kleriker der Hildesheimer Diözese, seinem Sohn, damit er in den geistlichen Stand treten und sich weihen lassen kann, sein im Pfarrsprengel St. Petri gelegenes Haus, das er derzeit bewohnt, vermacht hat und setzt ihn zu seinem Erben ein.
Die Urkunde dokumentiert die Tätigkeit Gerwins von Hameln als öffentlicher bzw. kaiserlich ernannter Notar in der Stadt Braunschweig. Zudem überliefert die Urkunde das Notariatssignet Gerwins von Hameln (linke Seite). |
