Description
English: 'Germaneren', magazine of the 'Germanske SS Norge', issued on 5 May, 1945, announcing the death of Adolf Hitler. 'Germanske SS Norge was the Norwegian detachment of Nazi Germany's Germanic SS organizations during the Second World War. This issue was one of the last before the end of the war.   • Fra der Führers hovedkvarter meldtes tirsdag kveld kl. 22.27 at vår Führer, Adolf Hitler, var falt for Tyskland på sin kommandoplass i Rikskanselliet, kjempende mot bolsjevismen til siste åndedrag.

I den siste tid har noen få kneskjelvende individer ved en misforståelse fått adgang til å lufte sine roingsforsøk i pressen. Dette har med rett vakt harme blant frontkjempere og kampfeller. Det er ryddet opp i dette.

1. Vi er ikke nøytrale i Europas forsvarskamp mot bolsjevismen. Vi tåler enhver motgang og vokser i hrhet, renhet og styrke.
2. Vi ønsker ingen borgerkrig. Men hvis de andre ønsker den, og hvis de andre framkaller den, hvis de andre søker å framkalle «de lange knivers» natt slik som i andre okkuperte land – da skal de få erfare hva de norske frivillige soldatene for Norges og Europas sak – fra Kaukasus, Mius, Rostow, Leningrad, Narva, Kiestinki, Schapotsero og Balkan, sammen med andre kampfeller kan utrette.
ϟϟ-kamerater! Vår storgermanske Fører er falt i kampen mot den røde pest. I sorg, men i beundring ærer vi han minne. Hans eksempel er en fakkel som varmer, lyser og viser veg!
I sluttkampen om Europas framtid står vi der som fillete, men floromvundne faner. Men som faner!
Vi er urokkelige!
ϟϟ-kamerater! Vår ære er troskap!
