Summary[edit]

Description

A German patrol boat on a French inland canal in 1942.

The type is similar to the German Schnellboot ("E-Boat"). Eight Dutch boats were conficated at Gusto shipyard, Schiedam, the Netherlands, in 1940. They were completed for the German Kriegsmarine and were moved to the Mediterranean via European inland waterways in 1942. They were then commissioned as S 151 to S 158.
