| Description | The German aircraft tender Westfalen at Tromsø, Norway, circa in 1943. Two Blohm & Voss BV 138 are visible on deck. Westfalen operated from Tromsø in early 1943, but was mostly stationed in Trondheim. She sank on her way to Germany in the Kattegat after hitting mines on 7-8 September 1944. |
